Do i have to appear at court when accepting a plea bargain?

I have been charged with a tax crime and my attorney has suggested that i accept the plea bargain , which i am expecting jail time but i will be aloud to self surrender . Will i have to go to court or can my attorney act on my behalf . I really do not want to spend any more time in the court room

your attorney will be able to represent you...however since he is your attorney how about asking him.
