World War I Monument 2 profile view

Built for Operation Bricklord at BrickCon in Seattle

This memorial statue is inspired by the First World War Memorial in front of the Royal Exchange in London. It was built in the 1920s to honor London's soldiers. These kind of memorials always remind me of town squares throughout Europe. Monuments like these would have been sombre reminders for the soldiers of WWII.

Daily Disney - Small World Platypuses

I know I'm in the minority here, but I actually enjoy the attraction It's a Small World for what it is, and this room â€" the Polynesian is my favorite. I love the music in this room and of course the design that goes along with it. I shot this with the 105mm f/2.8, which gave me great depth of field, but not a whole lot of shots that weren't at least slightly blurred.
